Hi. Just a little about me
I am a stay at home mom. I am 24 years old. Five years ago I got a degree on culinary arts. I worked as a cook for 4 years. Last year my beautiful baby boy was born so i decided to become a SAHM. I always had a passion for cooking and baking. And I always wanted to learn how to decorate beautiful cakes. A couple of months ago i decided that I wanted to learn how to decorate amazing cakes for my kids and my family. Just recently i started my classes and I have learned a lot. Its a small course but its great. Also i spend my spare time on the web watching online tutorials and videos on different techniques. I want to learn how to work with fondant and modeling chocolate. And hopefully turn my hubby into a profitable business.

I love this site. It is filled with artist and i love all the beautifull desings. It just amazing how much beauty and passion can be put in to a cake.
You can also take online classes from mycakeschool.com. They have online videos in detail with recipes. All fondant from beginning to advance are available there. Hope you like it.

Welcome to CakesDecor! You can learn quite a lot just by watching tutorials online, and asking questions. I have found that fellow cake decorators are very generous and willing to share and help new bakers. I have been making cakes for only a little over a year, and this is the way I learned most everything. Good Luck with your new adventure!
