About me

Hello, my name is Maria. I am a mum of 1 and a homebased baker. I have always loved to bake and after having my son i decided i wanted to do something from home so i could spend as much time with my little boy as possible!

My parents owned a bakery in South Africa where i was born and so baking was instilled in me from a young age!

I decided to set up my little business Funky Fab cakes over a year ago now and am enjoying it tremendously. The best part is when my clients see their cake for the first time and see their eyes open wide to their delight! That’s my favourite part.
