So my journey started in November when I was given the Great British Bake Off Showstopper recipe book for my birthday from my bestow following the amazing series 3. So I baked my husband a rather amazing chocolate fudge cake (covered in ganache and iced animals from shop), then I baked my granny some little London stout cakes (muffins make with chocolate porter), following those were lots of cupcakes for work for xmas ( seriously need some nozzles) then followed Christmas eve puds with a difference and my own version of a choc cherry kirsch cake. My grandad passed away end Dec following long illness and granny asked me to bake some cakes including coffee cake for the wake, 55 bitesize cupcakes in a variety of flavours and toppings plus a large coffee mocha cake with Bailey’s buttercream. All delicious. Then dad’s cake….shopping list now consists of
nozzles and/or piping kit
fondant tools
brushes
better rolling mat
