How to make Gum paste Poinsettia Flower. (Without using flower cutters).

First time try making this Christmas flower… Poinsettia.
In my way, Without using flower cutters. Using paper template instead.
And I love it !!!

Create thin veins on each leaf ( petal ) by gently drawing the edge of a piece of floral wire along the middle of each the leaf, and then draw thin angled lines that meet at the middle line.

Roll white gum paste in to cone shape and insert wire.
Dust with petal dust ( yellow , green and a little red on the tip).

Ready for assembling.
1st Layer : Center Buds.
2nd Layer: 5 small red leaves ( petals ) .
3rd Layer : 5 medium red leaves ( petals ).
4th Layer : 5 Large red leaves ( petals ).
5th Layer : 5 Large green leaves ( petals ).

Assemble gum paste Poinsettia by attaching 1 small red leaf ( petal ) to the centre bud.

3rd Layer: Add 3 medium red leaves ( petals ) around the poinsettia, sliding the edge of of each new leaves under the previous one. The leaves should cover the gaps between the leaves of the previous layer.

Add 2 more medium red leaves ( petals ), sliding the edge of of each new leaves under the previous one. The leaves should cover the gaps between the leaves of the previous layer.

4th Layer: Add 5 Large red leaves ( petals ) around the poinsettia, sliding the edge of of each new leaves under the previous one. The leaves should cover the gaps between the leaves of the previous layer.

5th Layer: Add 5 Large green leaves ( petals ) around the poinsettia, sliding the edge of of each new leaves under the previous one. The leaves should cover the gaps between the leaves of the previous layer.
