Zombie Nurse Cake Tutorial

A quick mini tutorial in a collage picture form of how I made my zombie nurse 3d cake! She was done first by stacking and sculpting cakes on a PVC dowel secured to a wooden board. After carving her initial shape, I buttercream crumb coated and chilled. I added her features for the 3d sculpted part by making a rolled buttercream and then fondant covering on top – next game texturing her facial features and then airbrushing and finally hand painting all of the details.
