Corporate Cupcakes

Like most businesses everyone wants to stand out from the crowd, be successful and have customers recommend and spread the word about their business.

With business comes marketing, training and events. Over recent months I’ve noticed an increase in trend for “corporate cupcakes”. I think that corporate cupcakes are a great idea. I mean, let’s face it as a business you’re onto a winner, giving out free mini cupcakes decorated with a logo, slogan, image of your choice. Who doesn’t like cake? Potential customers are also certainly going to converse for a bit of the sweet stuff.

The added advantage is that customers will unknowingly market your business by taking photographs on their phone and uploading them to social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to share the image… with your logo on!

Mini cupcakes are the perfect bite size treat whilst a larger cupcake is a true delight and sign of generosity!

Examples of Corporate Cupcakes

Virgin Media ordered several large cakes with their logo and lightning bolt on and 500 cupcakes in corporate colours for the latest Pitch to Rich 2015 event.

Trans Pennine Express served 250 cupcakes to morning commuters, whilst Barclays used them at their main training centre.

O2 ordered 500 mini cupcakes with Microsoft Surface logos (in the main photo) and were distributed to three different UK locations.

Other large corporations have ordered to give as a gift to potential customers to “sweeten the deal” so-to-speak. And another to give as a gift to their staff to mark their 10 year anniversary.

Whatever the reason, corporate cupcakes are a tempting treat for most people.

How Are They Made?

We print using a quality edible printer onto pre-cut fondant discs. Each one mounted onto a thicker fondant disc then carefully placed onto the cupcakes. We ensure that presentation is spot on. We use only the finest vintage cupcake boxes, tightly packaged with twine and a luggage label gift tag.

If you’re a cupcake business, why not approach local marketing, PR, web agencies to see if they would benefit? I would also recommend purchasing a good edible printer or finding a good cupcake topper supplier.
