Hi all,
Today I want to show you some shots of my last cake, inspired by my design: a little girl named “Fior di fragola“, dedicated to an italian famous ice cream with strawberries and vanilla.
The cake is themed sea, the little girl has the ice cream in her hand and hers flip-flops are on the sand.
This is the necklace I made as a gift coordinated to the cake :).
(If you’d like to see many other handmade one of a kind bijoux, you can visit my web site: www.laurasartstudio.com)
and this is the cake
Here are some shots:
At this point I made jelly with 12 grams of gelatin, softened in cold water and squeezed; and 40 grams of water. I warmed the gelatin in the water with the a little blue food color and let it cool before put it on the cake
And, at the end, after the party, I preserved my little baby putting her on a mini cake!
I hope you like this tutorial!

Please, can you explain how you made the eye lashes? Thanks.
Sure, Olori! I make the eye lashes with fondant and a blade: stretch out the dough with a rolling pin and cut very very thin eye lashes with a blade. For more detailed photos you can watch this post on my web site
I hope this can be useful for you!
