Recommendations required for rolling pin

Hi. I’m requesting anyone’s advice on a new rolling pin please? Makes/types? I’ve had an old marble one that my grandma gave me a thousand years ago and the handle has broke so looking to buy a new one. I’ve seen lots of different types and new materials out there but wondered if anyone was kind enough to offer advice before I purchase please. I’m in the UK. Would be one for rolling fondant to cover cakes. Thanks in advance of any help, Debs x

I use a non stock rolling pin and swear my it… Most cake suppliers sell it… They come in differs sizes too. I have a 6", 9" and 14"
Squires sell it as does Windsor Cakes and the Cake Decorating Company xx I can’t send links from the iPad, but google these three and they will pop up… Try Amazon too as they well as well and you can price compare as they are not cheap but an excellent investment

You must never limit your challenges, instead you must challenge your limits

Thanks very much for this. Appreciate you taking the time to help x

Hi Debs… I use a wooden one, with tapered ends… when rolling fondant for a larger cake it does not leave impressions at the edge when rolling… looks similar to this one…
