This weekend I did my first 3D cookie project, the goal is to test three things: Mother’s day flower bouquet design, lace icing technique and of course 3D cookie construction. Many lessons learned from this project and the best things is that I get to eat the end result this time! :-)
1. Bake flower cookies and piece to construct the vase. decorate the vase front and back piece and dry overnight
I used thick royal icing as glue, lesson learned is to be very generous with icing and wait for it to be completely dry before handling.
Now wait for it to dry

Great tutorial. Out of curiosity what did you stick the cookies sticks in to keep it from topping over?
I used dry foam wrapped in foil, then I filled the empty space with sugar. and that made it stay pretty well.
such a fantastic idea!!! great tutorial!! thank you for sharing :)
