Inspiration!
I’ve got several different designs running through my head at the moment… One inspired by my 3 year old daughter’s outfit today, one by Art Deco architecture and another inspired by my own top and featuring a few techniques I’d love to try!
Where do you get inspiration from and what do you do with it? Sit and wait for the right order to come along so you can put it into life or do you do examples using dummy cakes? Is it worth having a set ‘menu’ of designs that can be adapted to different clients? Like a signature range.
Or do you just do lots of drawings and sigh with discontent at the unfulfilled creativity?

I see cakes everywhere I look, Lol! I think I’m obsessed! If I really want to do a design I’ll either do a dummy or more often I’ll make it in cake and give it to my family to eat or give it to someone, this gives me practice and endulges my want for creating that special idea! :-)
