Brilliant xx I’m at the stage at the moment where I’m going from order to order as well as trying to do a part time job outside my baking business. My real worry is that whilst I want to take the next step I can’t do that financially just yet, and in all honesty I struggle to price myself properly. I know I spend too long on cakes, so hourly my rate would be very poor, but I can’t speed up or I feel I haven’t made the best job I can on the order. Also to get a real grip on what costs are likely to be if I should set up as a full time business. I’d love a shop front, but don’t want to put my home and my life on the line for it.
