Wow! Didn’t realize it has been so long since logging in, and I see I never got notified of a questions (from 3 years ago) :(
What did I use to make the blood? It was a corn syrup “recipe” I found online. Unfortunately I can’t remember where I found it. A tip to make it look like real blood is to slowly add cocoa powder to it to give it that darker color.
As for the topper…that’s just an edible image printed and then affixed to fondant. I cut around the image and put it on the top of the cake. I did the same thing with the zombie images around the sides. All edible images on fondant.
