I’ve never made a tutorial, to make the figures I used styrofoam in the bodies of Big Bird and Cookie Monster and styrofoam balls for all the characters heads.
They are all covered in gumpaste and scratched up to give them texture, except Big Bird where I coated him in royal icing and scratched that up a little.
