I hear your humidity/moisture problem. I have been drying my gumpaste flowers on the shelf on top of my husband’s television armoire.. silly way to do it, and my husband hates me on this. but i have been doing that for years now, it is a dry place and the constant temperature keeps the pieces to place. Just last night, I needed to dry a gumpaste chair which needed to dry overnight, it has been raining here in nj and the humidity is playing tricks on me. I just shoved the piece in the armoire shelf and was ready to go this morning…
