Casey i used a ball pan for the head and i carved the base from a 8inch and 6 inch cakes from memory… Was pretty easy once it was all ganached.. I used dowl supports between the 6 and 8 inch cakes and then more supports between the 6 inch and the head as well as supports in the head. I Think the hardest part was getting the head covered in fondant. This took a while but take it slow and you should be fine :-) Hope that helps Rach
