You must be very patient June, I’ve learned to slow down and listen but not to expect too much. Having said that, I’m constantly surprised at the clarity of her past memory which has been enlightening. You don’t sit and listen to your parents so you never really know them. The good that’s come out of this is I now know what she was like when she was young. So she’s giving me good memories in amongst the sadness it brings too.
