Thank you Goreti, Jen, Sasi, Robin, Mel, OutrageousCakes, Raika, Joyce! I was quite nervous about this cake travelling back to Melaka as it had started to rain and I messaged the client that the cake cannot be touched by rain. She messages back that they were on their way and it was already raining on their end. By the time they arrived, it was already raining so I had my hubby carry the umbrella over the cake as I carried it to their car. I also taped a plastic sheet onto the cake box to further protect the cake from the rain.
Raika, the figurines are fully gumpaste. They were fully dried in an air conditioned environment for many days to fight the heat and humidity. That’s why I charge quite a lot for each sugar figure… time, skill and electricity! Lol!
