Thanks everyone. I absolutely loved making this cake. It brought me right back to my childhood where my Grandmother used to make fresh pasta and meatballs. It was even more special to me as she suffers from Alzheimer’s and Dementia and this was that one moment where she opened her eyes and saw the cake. While I’m not sure she understood it, I’d like to believe she did. 89 years young and I look forward to every year she’s still here with us- she’s going to keep getting the best cake I can make.
