I always enjoyed baking, and for some reason a friend asked me to take a basic cake class, that taught us how to frost a sheet cake, make a few BC flowers.. way back in 1980! I can’t believe I am saying that… lol. While working another job, I was doing cakes for people at work and friends. I think we also get addicted to the nice compliments, and the love of creating something everyone can enjoy! I opened my shop in 1986, and quit my other job, and haven’t looked back! *PS. I cater also (food, buffets, etc. since ’86), so I have a very full schedule indeed! :)
