Thank you. They are tricky little monsters aren’t they Lisa – I use Tylose (Tylow) powder mixed into my fondant – about a teaspoon for every 200 grms and this seems to make it hard enough to withstand the rigours of looped bows. I also use wires or cocktail sticks at the join of each loop and push these gently into the cake to keep the loops in place and keeps it stable without the mess of using edible glue or royal icing to keep it together.
