I was really excited to make this cake, although when it came to making it my excitement turned to nerves! Id never made anything like this before so it was a real challenge.
I’d made the hat up in advance and had planned on having it leaning up against the book, but when I placed it onto the cake, it broke! :( it was a real learning curve and I would certainly do some things slightly different next time but for my first time in making books I was pretty chuffed :)
