A Wholock (Dr. Who/Sherlock) cake for an avid fan, who is celebrating her 19th birthday. Some Wholock fans theorize that Dr. Who saved Sherlock…that is why he’s still alive after that fatal jump. This is our interpretation of that theory. Of course, there is another explanation as to how he survived, but this is a fun and somewhat believable theory concocted by fans of both shows. The birthday girl is depicted as Dr. Who’s companion, seen here opening the door of the tardis in order to catch the falling Sherlock. Where is Dr. Who, you may ask? Where else but inside the tardis, maneuvering it and getting ready for another travel through time with his soon to be newly caught special guest…lol. The cake is pure dark chocolate with chocolate buttercream. All decorations are edible. The building and tardis constructed using rice krispies covered in fondant. The figures are fondant/gumpaste 50/50 combo. The steampunk style decorations on the front of the cake were added to symbolize the mechanisms of time.
