Made this cake was made for a little girl’s 1st birthday back in January 2011. I found the inspiration for this cake at an amazing bakers site Jho of Its A Cake Thing. Jho gave me permission to use her cake as inspiration and I thank Jho, I just hope I did her amazing cake justice. This cake was about 17in long and had to be carved and shaped into the 1. It was a yellow buttercake w/ buttercream frosting.
