I made this cake for my granddaughter’s 3rd (Cinderella themed) birthday party. She loves the color blue, and fell in love with Cinderella and her castle when she went to Disney World in June! I think she is her favorite princess because of her blue dress! I used the wonderful tutorial by Lesley of The Royal Bakery to make the castle. I also made cupcakes with fondant Cinderella toppers. Oh Toni, This is gorgeous, the detail is so exquisite and lovely. A very happy birthday to your lovely grand daughter.

It looks like I will be following you…‘cos I have been asked to do a mermaid cake for a close friend’s daughter which is in Nov and then I have been constantly asked by my darling daughter to do a Princess cake for her birthday which is in Dec…… and I still haven’t designed anything yet and God knows how they are both going to turn out :-( !!!! Both your Mermaid and the princess cakes are spectacular.

If the next cake that you are planning to do is ART based then that would be really funny and weird :-) ’cos that is what I have been requested to do for a niece of mine after these two cakes
