30th birthday cake for a musician and Slash fan. The main body of the guitar was vanilla cake filled with vanilla buttercream and the neck was chocolate cake with ganache. I got to play with my much neglected air brush and finished the cake off with a knee sliding miniature of the birthday boy, made with modelling fondant. The strings were lengths of thin clear elastic and gold craft elastic.
