This cake was commissioned for the 5th anniversary of Liverpool one shopping centre and specifically Chavasse park. This was my biggest cake to date( 24″ × 48″) it took me the best part of a week to complete and we had some trouble getting it into the car ! It took 4 of us to be able to lift it ! Any bigger and it would not have fitted in my car . !!
My first architectural cake and it turned out better than i thought ! It had to be lifted into the venue on a palette due to the size. It wAs Madeira cake covered in fondant with gum paste trees and walls. There were 30 trees !
