I have to admit that this is the most challenging cake that I made so far. I had to replicate elements of this fabulous Roberto Cavalli dress in a cake. I also wanted to please the birthday girl who is a very special lady. For the bottom tier I hand painted some of the flowers of the dress and used black lace made out of fondant for the top. The cake is quite busy to match the patterns on the dress!
