I had a really late sleep deprived night but I had decided that I was going to make these little treats for one my son’s lovely classmate who loves monster high and some for another good friends of ours. Only problem was I was not in a state to try out any elaborate designs, so the design element on these cupcakes are bit on the minimalistic side :-), I hope they enjoyed it in spite of it.

These look fantastic! Love black background with bright colour accents on it, and the texture imprints look great! I hate working with black fondant, I always make a mega mess with it! Haha. Well done, what a nice mummy you are doing these for him! :-)

Sometimes I am a nice mummy and sometimes not( especially when I tell him off)…according to him :-( This time he was happy.

Thank you so much Kath and Pauline for your lovely words. They mean so much to me. Yeah Kath Black is a difficult colour to work with…now a days I put cocoa powder when I am making the fondant and also sometimes cheat by buying the black fondant ;-))
