The 7 year old I made this for, wanted a volcano! I decided to give him a beautiful explosion, down to spewing smoke and the works. Researched dry ice and its toxicity (none), its dangers (can’t handle directly). And how to incorporate it in the cake. But the mom, was concerned. She had 25 little monkeys at the party, and was worried! So I had the child’s name erupting from the volcano instead. Got a call last night from the boy, saying he loved his volcano!
Thanks for looking!
If anyone has queries about dry ice, leave me a note.

Wonderful! Too bad mommy was worried about the dry ice. It would have been a sight to see the colcano smoking. :)

Hi Kath, well…the cake I had in mind was a smoking volcano- not exploding :)
But, I can understand the mom’s worries…
