This Transformers cake was originally meant to feed about 20 people but I ended up making it a lot bigger because it looked a bit ridiculous. It’s a 10 inch round vanilla sponge cake and about 5 inches high. The board was textured and left to dry and later airbrushed silver. The letters were first painted with black and white petal dust and later given a very thin coat of silver with the airbrush. It took a surprisingly long time to make but I do believe it was worth it, the birthday boy loved it.
