Never thought I’d enjoy making a ‘Boys’ cake as much as I did this one, lots of ‘firsts’…first 3 tier (vanilla, choc-fudge and fruit cake), first time hand painting a whole cake, first time doing the camouflage design, first time doing a ‘stand-up’ silhouette! Although it wasn’t plain sailing, we had a few mishaps! I absolutely loved making this cake and what’s more important – my son loved it too! :-D x
