Hi!!

I so enjoyed making this cake, it was great to have an opportunity to try out some new techniques I’ve learned from Jessica Harris’ Craftsy Class & finally do a square cake with sharp edges & corners! For my 1st attempt I was pretty happy with how it turned out :) The original design is based off one in a Planet Cake decorating book. Donna was having a Records & Michael Jackson themed b’day for her 50th, they cake was a last minute order so I didn’t have enough time to put too much emphasis on the MJ theme, but I did pop a wee “I heart MJ” sticker on the side of the player :) So many different ideas were running through my head of how I could incorporate him into the theme, but time was against me :( All in all I love how the cake turned out :)
