Possibly the strangest cake I have made, however it comes with a rather romantic story. The chap who ordered this forgot his wedding anniversary last year and was in trouble to say the least, so this year he decided to make it extra special. When he first met his wife she collected paperweights and for there first anniversary he gave her a house brick as a paperweight. This was his way of making up for last years booboo. They both came to the shop yesterday to thank me for making it and the wife has forgiven him and was overjoyed with the sentiment. I did have visions of her throwing at him but all’s well……
