A vintage birdcage cake with sugar roses, hydrangeas, blossoms and gold lettering made for my grandmother’s 92nd birthday! The cake is a chocolate chocolate chip cake with mint cookie butter-cream filling, covered in dark chocolate ganache and fondant. Everything is edible! The hand-made sugar roses were so delicate and the petals were so fragile, I could see the light through them. Hope you like it!
