Pink owl cake

Pink owl cake

I’m always making cakes for everyone so I thought I would make one for me :-)
The owl and the cake are made from choc mud cake, I finished the cake with choc ganache but made it a rough finish instead of smooth for something different. The owl is covered in fondant.

Aww… Isn’t she a cutie, The colours are bright and lovely. Sounds yummy too. The way to go Kath, now I feel like making one for myself :-). Maybe in two weeks time ( our wed anniversary is coming :-))
