The bottom tier of this naked cake is three layers of hummingbird cake sandwiched with cream cheese frosting and fresh blueberries.
The middle tier is a vanilla sponge soaked in vanilla syrup, sandwiched with fluffy vanilla buttercream and strawberry conserve.
The top tier – everyone’s favourite lemon drizzle cake sandwiched with fresh lemon curd and lemon buttercream.
The whole cake dredged with icing sugar and adorned with fresh strawberries, raspberries and blueberries.
As one of the guests said “that cake was b***dy lovely!”
