For my daughter’s 5th birthday. She loves Lil’panda and I decided to try and make a 3D cake like this for the first time. Challenging but in the end, it turned out really cute. The original design was to have his arms touching the top of the cupcake but after hours of playing around with it, I couldn’t get it too look right (his arms would have had to be really long to reach and looked awkward) so we just lay them along his side. The Panda Bear is about 11" H x 10" w x 6" D. The cupcake is 6" H x 6" W. All chocolate with ganache (her favorite) and fondant covered. My cousin hand made the wall decorations to match and I also made some ice cream cone cookies as favors.
