I made this cake for a friend who initially told me she wanted something simple and then kept sending me photos of cakes that she liked which were NOT SIMPLE. She said she wanted to spend $35. Most of you cake decorators know how much time goes into a cake and $35 for a cake is a joke! Well, when she picked it up she was prepped to just give me $35 and then asked what it was really worth. I didn’t want to shock her so I just said $65….well guess what….she thought that was an exorbitant amount and cringed as she wrote a check for $65! I’ve learned since to show pictures of what you get for $35, $65 and up!
