Assignment: Four days’ notice to create a mini wedding cake for a hunter couple who are getting married outside in the woods. Considering I live in a log cabin in the middle of the woods, all I had to do was look out my kitchen window for inspiration! Huge thanks to Conceptual Confections and Fondant Flinger for suggesting I paint the cake with food colorings, I’d never done it before :) Leaves are fondant, and ‘log’ border is modeling chocolate.
