I made this cake for one of my good friends who is a horror and zombie lover like myself. I turned him into a zombie rising from his grave. Both the zombie and the tombstone are cake covered in fondant and the fingers are just fondant. The dirt is cookies ground up and I made the hollow eye socket actually hollowed out. I retrospect, I should have put a worm and some bugs for an even better effect! He loved it regardless. :)
