Made for a 60th birthday, the brief for this cake was “he likes golf, cards and dice, horse racing and Chelsea Football Club”, so I thought rather than picking just one theme, I would do all four! All of the pieces on the cake are edible, made from sugar paste, apart from the horse which is made from modelling chocolate. Vanilla sponge with vanilla buttercream and raspberry filling.
