I was asked to make this for a friend’s partner. The ‘soil’ crumbled chocolate sponge cake. Apparently the birthday girl couldn’t bring herself to cut it for most of the evening, but relented in the end! I had great fun making this, but am not a cake maker ~ I would love to hear your comments and suggestions on how I could improve it. Thanks!
