Birthday girl wanted blue background with green border and hot pink swirls but beyond that she said I could do whatever I felt like. :) This was a tiny cake (6", 4" and 2") and they requested 3 different flavors so bottom tier was chocolate, middle tier was red velvet and top tier was vanilla and all were filled with swiss meringue buttercream.

Haha! Corrie. :) I have a lot to learn about the quilling…..I lost most of the pieces trying to assemble the cake. Ah well, usually 13 year olds are fairly easy when it comes to cake.

6X4X2? that’s CRAZY small! I don’t know that I could ice a 2" tier- 4" ones are really difficult for me…can’t imagine!

It was HORRIBLE! I finally got a thick coat on there, put it in the freezer for about a half hour and used a knife that I had run under hot water and just cut the excess frosting off. Gotta love swiss meringue for hardening up so much that I can get away with doing that. :)
