This cake was for the 1st birthday of a sweet girl named Saffron. The parents wanted the colours yellow and saffron on the cake and showed me a picture of a cake from The Cake Works so I used it as inspiration. It was a moist and dense conconut cake with strawberry jam filling and coconut buttercream. The letters were flooded with royal icing.
