This is the last cake I made in 2012. I made it for the lovely Ladies and Gentlemen who come along each month to my Afternoon Tea Dance in Lubenham Leicestershire. They are very special people who come along from the local Retirement homes for a sing along and very often a dance to music from the 40’s and 50’s.
I make a few cakes,tea and coffee and we all have a right jolly knees up!!
A lot of them have Alhzeimers so they are happy and comfortable to be back in time for a few hours.
And it gives me a lot of pleasure to see them so happy.
