Joining the dark/evil/goth cakes…. ha ha Just kidding!!!

I actually LOVED making this cake! Those of you whom are not familiar with the show called " GameOfThrones " here is what is in the show…. the sword chair.

The chair is completely edible filled with individual swords…about 200 of them, it is the size of your hand if not bigger and is made out of rice crispy treats, gum paste and royal icing.

The customer told me that the birthday girl loved game of thrones and to put my ideas into the cake. After a lot of research of what the show was actually about this is what I came up with. He also told me to add blood to it which is VERY new to me. So in doing so I made a mixture of corn syrup, icing sugar, flour and red food die to make the blood. I also added a red velvet food die inside the cake so when you cut into the cake it would leak out looking like blood.

Cake flavour was Red Carpet off the new menu with cream cheese icing.
