Made this 2 tiered cake for my Mum’s 80th Birthday. Was so excited to make the sugar flowers as I’m trying a new sugar paste recipe. A better alternative than the old recipe I’m using, no eggwhites with minimal ingredients😊 it’s basically all sugar! This cake is adorned by pink peonies, one of my favorites blooms on celebration cakes and gingham ribbons.
Struggled a bit adding colour to my fondant as kneading is really not my thing😊 but all’s well that ends well.😁😃😋 my mum loves it!
