Perched atop only a black iron metal pipe and surrounded with old-school style stage lighting on a custom-made stand, Roberto HatGoggles is fully edible. But let's address that name... my kids did it.  It's a steampunk owl cake designed after another artist's work but mine made edible. He's covered in modeling chocolate, isomalt decor, poured tempered chocolate, and hand-spun cotton candy... yes - I bought a cotton candy machine for this project and it was worth ever penny! The illuminated cake stand was made by my husband, hand wired and crafted, and we did it live on Facebook. Let me tell you how much he loves my crazy ideas when he has to make them come to life! Roberto HatGoggles was worth it.
