A tribute to Indigenous Australians on the week of NAIDOC.

Proudly presenting Medika the little girl who stole everyone's' hearts at the Cake Bake & Sweets Show in Melbourne on the weekend, Sponsored by Bakesale  and organized by Australian Cake Decorating Network 

Is it cake?  it sure is!! 

Medika was my second competition entry. If you remember the 1st one, the Firefighter and Koala, Andy and Chico" that went viral on social media back in 2019, that was my very first cake competition entry.

Medika was created using real cake, hand carved and hand sculpted with few different mediums and techniques. 

Last night Medika won three titles

1st place - Aussie Novelty Category

People's Choice Award

2nd place - Overall competition
