This is my first ever ‘castle’ cake. I was so excited and looking forward to making my first ever castle and I made seven turrets a week in advance, they dried beautifully and I thought I was super organised and in control……

Yes you can imagine what heppned next, my airbrush broke and the turrets got damaged. I was away for the day so time was ticking on getting the ‘castle’ cake finished.

While walking around CI on saturday, still trying to work out how to create my first castle without turrets, I bumped into a friend who muttered the words ‘giant cupcake’ and so I worked through the night and managed to create a princess cake. PHEW!!!!

Many many lessons learnt with this one but I was pleased with the finished result.
